Employee Spotlight

For this month’s #EmployeeSpotlight series, we’re recognizing our hard-working Multisite Community/Regional Manager, Shana Jackson. Today we’re highlighting Shana for her involvement with the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando where she serves on the Board of Directors, which allows her to stay up-to-date on industry changes and market trends, while also supporting the multifamily industry as a whole. Additionally, she is the Chair of AAGO’s Young Professionals Committee where she strives to advocate, mentor and motivate industry professionals to excel and grow within property management. Along with this effort, Shana has assisted in partnering with Valencia Community College’s Maintenance and Property Management program by participating in their job fair that focuses specifically on maintenance roles as well as AAGO’s speed mentoring event. Shana is a part of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee supporting diversity within the industry and stands by its mission, “We are greater because we are equal; by fostering an environment where diversity and inclusion are valued and celebrated by all.” Shana is focused on developing her team and guiding them to success.

Shana has been in property management for over 15 years, where she started as a Leasing Professional. Outside of the office, she spends time with her 3 children, loves traveling and consistently works on her professional and personal growth with continuing education. She is also a member of the American Heart Assocation Circle of Red for Women and enjoys supporting local charities.
